As someone who has dabbled in both lemonade stands and t-shirt stores, I have to say definitively that a great first business for our kids of the 21st century is an eCommerce store.
With dropshipping companies like Printful and Alibaba, today is the day of the young entrepreneur in our online world.
A young person is very social media savvy and would really align well with an apparel store online. Get them on Instagram posting product photos and collaborating with influencers early. When I have kids down the road I will absolutely set them up on Shopify at the age of five.
