Every final year of high school should include one task for students before they graduate: make $1 online.
Seems pretty easy, right? You might be thinking that $1 can be made in your sleep!
If you’re starting from scratch, that first dollar can be downright challenging.
We teach teenagers how to apply for jobs. Write your resume. Then write a cover letter. Then send it off to get an interview.
I’m more interested in seeing if a teenager has the ability to sell their passions to a complete stranger.
Oh and since I’m writing about this, here’s how I made my first dollar online:
I sold an eBook.
It actually came through a social conversation I was having on Twitter, and the person found my book via my profile.
There are countless ways to make that first dollar. If you had one week to figure it out, could you?
