My Surprise Pre-Workout Meal

I have been testing a new diet to optimize my health, where I eat within a 9-hour window. This is called intermittent fasting, and it’s been shown to improve digestion and muscle growth. I’ll start eating by 10am and stop by 7pm at night.

I like exercising in the morning and have found that eating a pre-workout meal is unnecessary for peak performance. I’ll have a glass of water beforehand and that is it. Our body already stores the energy needed.

The next time you’re looking for a way to optimize your diet and exercise, try skipping your early-morning meal.

10 Ways to Make Money Online

As we move to a landscape where people are more willing than ever before to pay for products online, let’s look at 10 ways you can make money. These ideas can be done from your bedroom, on a beach, anywhere:

E-Commerce.
With Shopify, you can have an online store up and running in the next hour. Whether you like to sell clothing or accessories, you can do it on here! I use Printful to dropship my products, making everything automated so I can focus on my marketing activities.

Freelance.
If you are looking to work on a variety of projects and like finding clients, freelancing might be for you. Upwork and Freelancer allow you to apply for job postings like a real job – if you have a niche set of skills and a solid proposal, you might have the edge over others!

Blogging.
If you enjoy writing, blogging is a great opportunity to build your following on a topic that interests you. If you get enough traffic to your site, you might be able to monetize with products, services and ads. WordPress is the platform of choice if you want to get into blogging.

Affiliate programs.
You can be an affiliate marketer for sites like Amazon or Commission Junction. Everytime someone clicks an affiliate link you share and then buys products, you make a portion of money from that sale! Amazon is a great start as they practically invented affiliate marketing – find a trending product to sell and tell your friends.

eBooks.
Take your writing skills and knowledge to the next level by writing an eBook. With Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing you can create a book of any length, self-publish it and tell the world through promotions and giveaways. Even if writing is not your strong suit, consider hiring a ghostwriter to handle most of the production work. You hand them the outline and they take care of the writing! With this method, you can produce quite a few eBooks in a short time.

Courses.
With Udemy and Coursera, you can build a course on anything you’re knowledgeable about and charge for it. I actually use LearnPress, which is a plugin built into my site. I can then build courses without having to pay out commissions. For anyone who wants to get started quickly without the technical work, Udemy is quite simple.

Coaching.
If you’re like me and you love giving advice to others, become a coach or consultant! You can use a program called Clarity.fm to show your expertise and mentoring skills.

YouTube.
This is a challenging road to take, but if you can get to YouTube celebrity status and amass a nice number of subscribers, you could make some cash with YouTube AdSense! Keep in mind that on average you will only receive $1-2 per 1,000 views of your videos. But if you like being in front of the camera, YouTubing might be the right approach for you!

Influencer.
If you are a social media wiz and you have tons of followers, you could reach out to companies and offer to mention their products or give a shout-out in exchange for cash! Instagram and YouTube are popular programs for influencers.

Apps.
If you love coding for the mobile world, try building and selling an app! One way to ease the selling of your app is to offer a free version with add-ons – also called the freemium model.
