I decided to go on a creative adventure by writing and illustrating nine picture books in 30 days.
I did all of this while recovering from multiple surgeries to save my eyesight. I had no prior experience writing or illustrating picture books.
Most writers are not illustrators, and vice versa. I decided to be both.
To craft my stories, I used a drawing program on my computer to create them digitally in high-resolution. I would sketch ideas on my notepad as they popped into my head.
Even after self-publishing the nine books, my thoughts conceived more than a dozen additional book ideas in that month of extreme creative flow.
Anyone can create something if they put their minds to it. What will you create next?
